Franklin has been ranked number six on Money Magazine’s list of “Best Places to Live” for 2018.

It’s not the first time Franklin has been ranked by Money; last year, Williamson’s county seat was fourth on the same list.

The article lists “low unemployment, booming job growth, short job commutes, and breweries aplenty,” as top indicators of “an ideal place to set down roots.”

Puckett’s Boat House and Landmark Booksellers receive a shout out, as well as the Heritage Foundation’s annual Pumpkinfest.

The city and county is routinely ranked high in education, wealth, and quality of life, and low in crime and unemployment.

Frisco, Texas came in first, while Murfreesboro was the only other Tennessee town on the top 50 list, coming in at 19th.
