Registration for sand volleyball and pickleball is now open. There are two sand volleyball leagues, men’s doubles and coed 4’s, that will be competing at the Franklin Recreation Complex, 1120 Hillsboro Road.

The Men’s doubles league will play on Monday evenings beginning May 20 through July 15.  The league will play a 7 game season concluding with a single elimination tournament. Cost is $80 per team.  The Coed 4’s league will play on Thursday evenings beginning June 6 through August 1.

A maximum of 16 teams will be accepted. The season will be a round robin format, concluding with a single elimination tournament. Cost is $200 per team. Registration will continue through May 27 or until full at www.wcparksandrec.com. Registration code #13941.

The Spring Pickleball Clinics are designed for advanced players. They will be conducted on the outdoor courts at the Academy Park campus located at 120 Everbright Ave. in Franklin. The cost for each clinic is $50.

Clinics will be held May 13, 14 and 15 from 5:30 – 7 p.m., (Registration code #13830) and  May 20, 21 and 22 from 9:30 to 11 a.m. (Registration code #13831) for intermediate players with a strong knowledge of the rules and wanting to develop their skills further.
