The Brentwood Lady Bruins (9-0) hosted The Father Ryan Lady Irish (9-3-3) Thursday night.

It was Senior Night for Brentwood, and they wanted to send their seniors out in style. They did just that with a 5-0 win.

The first half was scoreless even though both teams went at each other. Multiple scoring attempts were stopped by both teams.

But once the second half started Bentwood had a scoring frenzy.

At 36:53 senior Morgan Greene scored for Brentwood, making it 1-0. That was followed quickly, as at 31:40 Emma Majors scored off the assist from Greene on a break away. 2-0. Greene added another goal at 27:17 to extend the lead to 3-0.

And the Lady Bruins continued to keep the scoring up. At 25:18 senior Olivia Olmstead scored off the assist from Haley Hannah. Maison Wells closed out the scoring at 9:18 when she scored on a header corner kick from Meghan Lee, 5-0 Lady Bruins.

It’d be good enough for the win.

Brentwood head coach Kersta Mello stated, “ We played really well. We’re proud of the possession style of game we played. We scored five goals that were good quality goals that we worked on in practice. So it’s nice to see that play out, and we didn’t let down in the game which was great.”

There was a special ceremony at halftime honoring the six seniors and wishing them well after their career at Brentwood:
