Brentwood High School, Ravenwood High School and Page High School all saw members of their respective girls lacrosse teams earn national recognition with U.S. Lacrosse.

Brentwood rising senior and midfielder Mattie Hargis and Page graduate and midfielder Annie Plotts made the list for 2018-19 Girls High School All-Americans.

They were two of seven in the state to see their names among the country’s best girls lacrosse players.

Ravenwood saw its head coach Bill Dryer named the state’s only Girls’ Coach of the Year honoree.

Lacrosse isn’t a sanctioned sport by the TSSAA as of now, but that is set to change for the 2021-2022 school year.
