The Brentwood Police Department only reported five crimes over the last week in its weekly crime analysis.

With few criminal acts to investigate, Brentwood police spent some time raising money for the Special Olympics. Officers from the Brentwood Police Department served drinks and food at Chili’s on September 6 as a part of the fundraiser.

The department reported no business burglaries, residential burglaries, stolen cars, vandalism or robberies.

Two residents had things stolen from cars. One theft happened at the Brentwood Library and another happened at the Brentwood YMCA.

Police arrested one person suspected of stealing jewelry from a store on Franklin Road. Police also reported thefts of a debit card and gift cards.
