Crime seems to have settled down a bit in Brentwood over the past week, with three instances of thefts from cars and a stolen TV the most serious offenses in the Brentwood Police Department’s latest crime report.
Two incidents occurred somewhere between the evening of Thursday, Dec. 8 and the morning of Friday, Dec. 9. In one, CDs and sunglasses were stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 1100 block of Twins Spring Road. Another unlocked vehicle, this one in the 1100 block of Haverhill Drive, had a coin purse stolen from it. There are no suspects in either of these crimes, according to the report.
A third incident took place early in the afternoon of Wednesday, Dec. 14, on the 9100 block of Sydney Lane. In this case, a suspect or suspects broke the passenger side window of a vehicle with a brick and stole a duffel bag and its contents. There are two male suspects in this case, one a teenager, the other a man in his 20s wearing a hoodie. They reportedly left the scene in a black BMW.
On either Friday night, Dec. 9 or Saturday morning, Dec. 10, another car, this one on the 100 block of Eastpark Drive, had its front passenger side window smashed with a brick. Nothing was taken from this vehicle, though.
The final incident in the report deals with a flatscreen TV that was stolen from the basement of a home on Governor’s Way on Wednesday, Dec. 14.
