Ravenwood junior wrestling

Ravenwood High School is readying a new season of its Junior Wrestling Program.

It’s a two-week program aimed for kindergarten through fifth graders from schools like Clovercroft, Crockett, Edmondson, Jordan, Kenrose, Lipscomb and Sunset, per a release from the school.

The program is also open for kids in other elementary schools and home school students.

It’s $50 a wrestler to participate.

Practices will be from Oct. 28 through Nov. 7 in Ravenwood’s auxiliary gym from 6  to 7:30 p.m.

A special tournament will be held on Nov. 9 at 10 a.m. in the Woodland Middle School Gym.
