McGavock Farms resident Michael Senna was impressed when he saw a Brentwood Police officer come to the aid of a construction worker after a lumber mishap on Feb. 2.

Senna stopped to get a photo of the officer and the construction worker quickly working together in freezing weather to get the spilled cargo back on the van.

Senna sent this note to Brentwood Home Page:

“Just a shoutout to this BPD officer who helped a construction worker load a half ton worth of lumber back on his vehicle.

“The worker took the right hand turn onto Murray from Franklin a little too sharp on Friday afternoon 2/2.

“The temperature was 32 degrees with a windchill in the teens.

“I was not able to get the officer car number. Anyway, I wanted him to know he is appreciated.”
