The John P. Holt Brentwood Library has a variety of programs for the week of Sept. 23-29. Check out the details below:
Revive Restorative Yoga will take place on Monday at 11 a.m. The class has a $5 fee with registration online. This class uses trusted techniques into a series of postures working deep on the inter-connective tissues to promote “internal cleansing” and well-being in all areas of life.
Medicare Made Simple is a free presentation at 6 p.m. designed for those turning 65 and older who need to decide on Medicare and would like more education on the subject during what can be an overwhelming time. The presentation will review what is and isn’t covered by Medicare, Medigap options, and Prescription Drug choices to consider. Registration is available online. The presentation will be given again on Thursday at 1 p.m.
The library’s Featured Program of the Week is Feldenkrais: Movement for Ease and Comfort, which will take place on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. The class has a $10 fee with registration available online where students will learn to gain new mobility and greater flexibility by using gentle, mindful movements.
A free Financial Workshop will be held at noon on Wednesday where participants can learn about Asset Protection: Strategies to Safeguard Your Wealth. The program is free with registration available online.
An Intro to Excel class will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. The free program will help participants learn and become efficient in the popular spreadsheet program, including learning spreadsheet basics including formulas, formatting cells, rows and columns. Must be proficient with the mouse and have a good understanding of keyboard editing keys. Registration available online.

LEGO Mania! will take place at 4:30 p.m. where participants are encouraged to unleash their creativity in a fun filled afternoon of building their own designs. The free event is open to children aged 5-12 and registration is available online. Any children 5 or under must have adult/parent supervision. The library will provide the LEGOs.
A Practice ACT class will be held from 8:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. The free program requires participants to register online and they need to bring pencils, calculator, a snack and a drink. Ending time may be flexible.
The Teen Game Club will meet for a free program on Sunday from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. where they will play board games, Dungeons Dragons, card games and more. Everyone ages 12-18 is welcome. Snacks and a variety of games will be provided in the Learning Lab.
