Williamson County Sheriff’s Office has been searching since Monday for Ronnie Joe Hollingsworth of Smyrna who is wanted for indecent exposure.

Nolensville resident Jennifer Bounds made the report Monday after taking her two young children to visit the ice cream truck in Silver Stream Farms after school around 4 p.m.

‘We went to run down the ice cream man, who was in a cul de sac. After the truck left, we were walking back home, and I noticed this car not going at the stop sign. I thought that’s weird, but maybe he was looking at his phone. I smiled because I thought he was a neighbor, but then he looked down at his crotch and was exposed and made sure I knew he was touching himself,’ Bounds said.

She continued, ‘The sad part is, was he looking at those children? That’s just sick.’

Bounds added that at 6:20 that same evening, she saw the suspect drive past again while she was outside recounting the incident to a neighbor.

‘I started chasing him, and in hindsight, I don’t know what I was going to do, but my adrenaline was going. I called 911 and let them know he was back in our neighborhood. It’s like he was getting off on the fact that I was following him. He slowly drove past with a smirk on his face. He didn’t care. I later discovered my husband saw him, too; he wasn’t trying to immediately escape,’ Bounds said.

She and other locals have been communicating via community Facebook page Nolensville 411, where others have reported spotting the suspect in other areas around Nolensville, including Burkitt Place subdivision.

Though upset and concerned about the incident, Bounds said she was not surprised.

‘I’m a daughter of two police officers who work in Knoxville, and I was taught about these people. I don’t live in that little bubble most people think they live in. I keep a watch on my children and look at the world a little different than most people.’
