The Williamson County Community Band will celebrate the music of cinema with a free concert at the John P. Holt Brentwood Library on Sept. 14.

The “Big Screen, Little Screen” concert is sponsored by the Williamson County Parks and Recreation Department and will take place at 3 p.m. with performances of movie and television theme songs.

The 65-member band is under the direction of Randy Frame and is made up of local amateur and professional musicians ranging in age from preteens to those in their upper 80’s.

The band was formed in 2000 and has become a staple of the Williamson County arts and music scene, providing numerous free community concerts throughout the year.
