Arthur A. Witt, Jr., age 91, of Franklin, Tennessee, passed away May 21, 2019 while visiting his son in Las Vegas, Nevada.

He was a lifelong resident of Williamson County, Tennessee. He was a civil engineer in construction for 45 years before retiring to enjoy traveling, reading, computer games, joking with people and always telling how long he had been married.

He was preceded in death by son, Dan Witt; his father, Arthur A. Witt, Sr.; mother, Gladys Gibbs Witt; and brother, Murray Witt. Survived by: wife of 74 years, Elizabeth H. Witt; son, Randall (Renee) Witt; grandchildren, Cooper Witt and Kacy Witt (Kirk) Thomas; great grandchild, Wyatt Thomas and brother, Gilbert L. Witt.

Memorial services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Sunday, June 9, 2019, at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Mitch Davis officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Inurnment will follow in Williamson Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to Franklin Church of Christ.
