Emmanuel Peter “Mike” Courtelis of Franklin, Tennessee passed away Sept. 18, 2019 at the age of 80.

The son of Panagiotis and Mersina Courtelis, he was a graduate of Boston University. He was a director at Blue Cross / Blue Shield, and served for three years as Supply Pastor at Clay Hill United Methodist Church in Lewisburg, Tennessee.

Preceded in death by his wife, Kathy Courtelis and their beloved pet Cosette. Survived by: son, Niko Courtelis of Portland, Oregon; daughter, Christine (Graeme) Blackmore of Berkeley, California; step-daughter, Elizabeth (Ren) Oliver of Belfast, Maine; stepson, Andrew David Oliver; sister, Irene (Mike) Theodorakis of Eustis, Florida; brother, Sam (Patti) Courtelis of Allentown, Pennsylvania; grandchild, Isabel Courtelis; and step-grandchild, Ren Floyd.

Memorials can be made to the Williamson County Animal Center. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 6, 2019.
