Stephens Valley, a residential community developing off Sneed and Pasquo roads along the Williamson-Davidson county line, is putting on a free BBQ and Bluegrass event from 4 to 9 p.m. on June 15.

David Peterson & 1946 band will be playing bluegrass music and both Pig and Pie Catering and The Ridge will be providing local BBQ. In addition to the live music and food trucks, expect face painting, Kona Ice, a kid zone with bounce houses, and fireworks at sunset.

“There’s no better way to kick-off the summer than with live music and good food,” Emily Winkler, Director of Marketing and Public Relations at Stephens Valley, said in a press release. “We can’t wait to see both new and familiar faces around Stephens Valley!”

Food and drinks will be provided.

Stephens Valley bills itself as a nature-centered, family-oriented housing development built on land purchased by the Stephens family in the 1930s.
