Grace Constantine, daughter of Karen and John Constantine, is a freshman at Brentwood High School and this week’s Student of the Week.
She is a recipient of the Academic Excellence and Academic Achievement awards and is a straight A student. Last year, she was a member of the National Junior Honor Society.
One of her biggest passions is videography. She enjoys filming, editing, as well as other parts of the process. She started doing it in middle school and said she hopes to continue and make it her career.
Her favorite class at BHS is TV and Film. “Filming and editing things is something that I love,” she said, “…is a passion of mine, and want to do for a living.”
BHS Assistant Principal Oceana Sheehan said of Constantine, “Grace Constantine is a student who goes above and beyond. She always has a positive attitude and work ethic. Her classwork is very thoughtful and always showcases the depth of her knowledge. She never puts minimum effort into her work. She is also very kind to her classmates. She is an outstanding student and citizen of BHS.”
Her mother, Karen, is her top role model. Constantine said of her, “My role model is my mom because she works so hard to cook for us, clean the house, take me to my activities and still work a job to make money for my family.”
When she’s not in class, she’s working on the sound crew for the school play or playing softball on the school team. She is also on another tournament softball team.
After graduating from BHS, she plans to go to college to pursue a career in television or movies. She would like to be behind the scenes editing, filming, producing or directing.
