NHS faculty has nominated Holland Andrews for their Knights Making A Difference program this week.

Holland Andrews

Holland Andrews, daughter of Jim and Susan Andrews, is a sophomore at Nolensville High School and this week’s Student of the Week.

She is a member of numerous groups and organizations at NHS including Band, Cheerleading, Student Council, and The Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

Her biggest passions are band and music. This year, the NHS band was awarded 2019 Midstate Band and Honor Band. In 2018, they were named 2018 Midstate Band Alternate.

Her favorite teacher at NHS is Mr. Easley. “He really pushes me to be better as a person and a player,” she said.

Andrews said that her sister is a constant source of inspiration and one of her top role models.

She said, “She always does what she loves even when others might not want her to and I admire that.”

Rebecca Leeper said of Andrews, “She is consistently prepared for class, ready to participate, and has a great attitude. She’s up for any challenge in the classroom. That’s why she’s an excellent choice for this week’s Student of the Week.”

After graduating from NHS in a couple of years, Anderson plans to attend Southern Methodist University to pursue a career as a Music Therapist.
