Eliza Paisley, daughter of Emily and Chris Paisley, is a sophomore and this week’s Student of the Week.
She is a student at Franklin High, but is also enrolled in the Biomedical Program at RHS. She is a member of the girls soccer team at FHS and a club team. One of her biggest passions through FHS is Young Life. “It’s a fun way to bring everyone together,” Paisley said.
Her favorite teacher is her Biomedical Science teacher Mrs. Greer. “She always knows how to make class fun and lets us do a lot of hands on activities,” she said.
Greer said of Paisley, “Every day Eliza has a special day of high school. She starts her day in my first period Biomedical Science class. When the bell rings, she leaves to attend Franklin High School, her full time school, for the rest of the day. Right now she is applying to get her hardship to be able to drive herself since her parents have been driving her. I am beyond thankful to have Eliza in the Biomedical Program at Ravenwood. Her commitment, motivation and excitement are truly inspiring.”
One of her biggest role models is her youth leader at church. “She is always there for anyone no matter what,” she said. “She always puts others first.”
After graduating, she plans to continue playing soccer in college and join a pre-med program.
