Williamson County Animal Center and Williamson County Parks and Recreation announced open registration for the annual Bark ‘n Splash Bash events for dogs and their owners on Saturday, Sept. 7, according to a release.
This event is sponsored by Scott Poe Properties-Keller Williams and will raise money for the animal center’s special medical fund.
Bark ‘n Splash Bash events will be held at two WCPR outdoor pool locations: the Longview Recreation Center at Spring Hill, 2909 Commonwealth Dr., from 9 a.m. to noon, and the Williamson County Recreation Center at Nolensville, 7250 Nolensville Rd., from 1-4 p.m.
During the special events, the pool area will be open only to pre-registered adult handlers and their dogs. Spectators are welcome to observe from the Bowwow Boosters section for free.
Participants must pre-register at www.wcparksandrec.com. The entry fee is $20 per pet, and space is limited to 70 dogs per location. To register for the Longview/Spring Hill location, use registration code #14961 or registration code #14962 for the Nolensville location.
Proof of rabies vaccination is required for entry (no exceptions), and participants should review all rules and waivers during online registration. In case of rain, the events will be rescheduled for the following day: Sept. 8.
