Local foodies can educate themselves about 40 local restaurants, caterers, snack and dessert specialists in one place today: The Taste of Williamson.

The annual sampling event hosted by The United Way of Williamson County runs from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the CoolSprings Galleria mall, 1800 Galleria Boulevard, Franklin, Tennessee 37067.

Presented by Nissan, this annual sampling event is a favorite of the local and regional community, featuring the area’s “best food and beverages,” according to its Facebook event post.

The mall is lined with tasting stations, and ticket holders can meet chefs, sip on a favorite beverage, taste local restaurant offerings, and enjoy musical entertainment as they explore the purveyors’ displays. Tickets are $40 at the door, and $20 out of each ticket is tax deductible, thanks to the generosity of the participating vendors. Proceeds go to United Way agencies.

Wait, wait, there’s more: bring your ticket stub from Taste of Williamson to receive 10% off at any of the participating restaurants from the event (excluding alcohol, taxes and gratuity). Caterers will give 10% off box lunches ordered during restaurant week and used within 30 days. Some exclusions apply.
