Movies in the Park kicks off Thursday night with showing of 'Black Panther'

One of the most loved events of the summer is here… It’s time for the Nashville Scene’s Movies in the Park. Tonight, Thursday, June 6, the event will kick off with a showing of Black Panther at Elmington Park.

The festivities begin at 5 p.m. with food trucks, vendors, games and giveaways. The movie will begin at sundown, around 8 p.m.

Food will be available for purchase from Athens Family Restaurant, Banh Mi & Roll, Ben & Jerry’s, Daddy’s Dogs, Early Eats, Funk Seoul Brother, Grady’s Classic Concessions, Little Cancun, Pizza Perfect, and Retro Sno.

The local vendor on site this evening is The Nashville Blanket Project.

The event is sponsored by CareNow Urgent Care, Shipt, Postmates, JUMP, Ensworth School, Nashville Community Education, and Wyndham Destinations.

Next Thursday, June 13, you can catch a showing of the beloved 90’s film Air Bud at 90s Throwback Night! In case of rain, the reserved rain date is June 20.

Elmington Park is located at 3531 West End Ave. Parking is available at West End Middle School, Blakemore United Methodist Church, and West End Church of Christ. Additional street parking is available, but please be mindful of residents. Pets are welcome but must be on a leash at all times.
