Page quarterback Zak Mizell is the Franklin Home Page / Newk’s Player of the Week after advancing his team to the Class 4A playoffs by leading a second-half road comeback against Spring Hill to win 27-12. e

He finished the game with 273 passing yards, four touchdowns and one interception.

Mizell’s first score of the game came in the second quarter when he connected with Lucas Cramer for a 9-yard touchdown pass to put Page up 6-0.

After falling behind 12-6 in the third quarter, Mizell started to light the scoreboard up. It all started with a 77-yard connection with Micheal Roberts to put the Patriots up 13-12 with 2:11 remaining in the quarter.

Mizell hit Roberts again early in the fourth quarter for a 30-yard score to give Page a 20-12 edge.

A few minutes later, Mizell threw a 50-yard touchdown pass to Mason Smith for the game’s final score of 27-12.

Page’s next matchup will be at White House in the first round of the Class 4A playoffs. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.

Micheal Roberts, Page: Caught three passes for 116 yards and two touchdowns, while also picking up 39 yards on the ground in 27-12 win over Spring Hill.

Dee Hunter, Summit: Had 162 passing yards, 88 rushing yards and three touchdowns (1 rush) in 27-54 loss to Ravenwood.

Joseph Reffegge, Summit: Had two touchdown receptions in 27-54 loss against Ravenwood.
