Franklin quarterback Joe Critchlow is the Franklin Home Page / Newk’s Player of the Week after he threw four touchdowns in Friday’s 36-29 loss against Ravenwood.

His first score of the night came on a 34-yard throw to wide receiver Luke Hill to cut Ravenwood’s lead to 7-6 in the first quarter.

Critchlow struck again just before halftime with a 21-yard pass to running back Brice Milam to set the score at 19-15 with Ravenwood ahead.

He tied the game at 22 with a 14-yard strike to WR Carson Young midway through the third quarter.

His final touchdown of the night was a 50-yard throw to Hill to knot things up at 29 with 8:09 left in the game.

The senior gunslinger finished with 22-of-32 passes completed for 304 yards and one interception.

Franklin (6-2, 3-1) hosts Independence (5-3, 2-2) Friday for a District 11-AAA bout.

Andrew Bunch, Independence QB: Went 9-for-10 passing for 168 yards and two touchdowns, and rushed for 39 yards and a score in 49-7 win over Dickson County.

Brice Milam, Franklin RB: Rushed for 55 yards and had seven receptions for 87 yards and a touchdown.

Michael Magochy, Page QB: Passed for 237 yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions against Cascade.

Ronald Cleveland, BGA RB: Carried the ball four times for 87 yards and one touchdown in 41-7 win over Zion Christian Academy.

Zack Hardiman, BGA RB/LB: Rushed for 47 yards and two touchdowns, and recorded three tackles, one interception and one sack.

Rieves Berry, BGA WR: Caught two passes for 99 yards and a touchdown.
