Franklin wide receiver Luke Hill is the Franklin Home Page / Newk’s Player of the Week after he scored two touchdowns in Friday’s 34-33 overtime win against Independence.

His first touchdown came on a 15-yard pass from quarterback Joe Critchlow to cut Independence’s lead down to 20-17 with just under a minute left in the first half.

Hill later caught a 29-yard touchdown from Critchlow to tie the game at 27 with five minutes left in the contest.

Hill finished with two receptions for 44 yards.

Joe Critchlow, Franklin QB: Threw for 277 yards and two touchdowns, rushed for 16 yards and one touchdown, and had an eight-yard reception for a touchdown.

Andrew Bunch, Independence QB: Threw for 412 yards, two touchdowns and one interception, and rushed for 46 yards and a touchdown against Franklin.

Emanuel Hall, Centennial WR: Recorded six receptions for 153 yards and two touchdowns in 43-7 win at Dickson County.

Nate Johnson, Independence WR: Caught eight passes for 154 yards and two touchdowns.

Seth Huner, Independence WR: Had 13 grabs for 207 yards.

Dom Childress, Independence RB: Rushed for 114 yards and two touchdowns, and caught two passes for 32 yards.

Tyrel Dodson, Centennial RB: Had 59 rushing yards and two touchdowns against Dickson County.

Sean McMahan, Page WR: Hauled in five receptions for 89 yards and a touchdown in 17-13 loss against Fairview.
